Fittings – Gear pumps
Filter
The filter has the purpose of protecting the pumping elements in case of fluids containing solid bodies.
M Pompe filters consist of a removable basket with a filtration degree from 0.5mm up to 5mm, a rounded bottom to help cleaning and discharge of the tank and a handle that facilitates transport and handling.
The closing is hermetic thanks to O-Rings made in materials that range from NBR, VITON, PTFE, EPDM, encapsulated FEP, KALREZ, depending on the type of fluid to be pumped and on the pumping temperature.
The filters are made entirely of AISI 304 or AISI 316 to satisfy any application ranging from the resin and paint sector with corrosive liquids to the food sector.
In addition, the filter can be set up for a clogging indicator, in order to monitor the condition of the drum.
Technical features:
Filtration degree: from 0,5mm up to 5mm
Range: up to 65m³/h
In/out: from DN 25 to DN 150 with the possibility of providing EN 1092-1 flanges.
Cart
The cart, made entirely of AISI 304, is specifically designed to facilitate the motion of the electric pumps within the working area.
The ergonomic structure in stainless steel guarantees maximum solidity and versatility.
The wheels can be supplied in rubber to ensure greater friction, or in Teflon, according to the working area in which it will be placed.
Various versions are available depending on the pump to be moved.
Inverter panel fitted cart
The cart with on-board frequency inverter is the best solution for monitoring the pump performance.
The inverter panel ensures the regulation of the motor frequency and consequently the rotation speed of the pump, thus managing the flow rate according to the requirements.
From the switchboard it is possible to operate any function of the electric pump:
- Start
- Shutdown
- Reverse rotation
- Frequency adjustment (shown in a display integrated into the panel)
EN 1092-1 Flanges
M Pompe pumps and filters can be fitted with a wide range of flanges complying with EN 1092-1 standard, both in carbon steel and stainless steel, according to customer needs:
- Forged welding plate flanges
- Forged welding raised face plate flanges
- Forged welding neck flanges
- Free molded flanges
By-Pass
The by-pass valve is a device designed to protect the pumping parts and the system from damages caused by overpressures that may arise in the event of a closed discharge valve or clogged pipes.
The by-pass valve of M Pompe gear pumps is adjustable according to the requirements of the system.
By adjusting the screw placed at the edge, it is possible to change the balance of the forces acting on the shutter, thus modifying the intervention pressure.
The by-pass valve can be supplied in cast iron, AISI 304, AISI 316; when necessary, it is possible to carry out state-of-the-art heat treatments, thus improving the tribology of the material.
Heating Jacket
The heating jacket is a component of primary importance if the fluid to be transferred has a high melting point and it is solid at room temperature.
M Pompe supplies this component which, by connecting to the steam line or to the hot water line of the system, and by special heating channels on the pump, enables the transfer of fluids such as fats, lard and suet.
Damper
The function of an expansion vessel is to absorb and conserve the energy of a liquid under pressure, thus avoiding vibrations on the pipes which would be particularly harmful for the system.
The pre-charged pressurized air inside the damper forms a cushion which, being in direct contact with the process fluid, compensates the volume variations and absorbs the energy of the fluid, so that it doesn’t result in vibrations along the system line.
M Pompe supplies this component in various materials such as carbon steel, S235 JR, AISI 304, AISI 316, depending on the application on which it will be installed.
Technical features:
Capacity: up to 50 lt
Pressure: up to 16 bar
Temperature: up to 100 ° C
In/out: GAS threads – flanges from DN 25 to DN 150 with the possibility of installation complying with. EN 1092-1.
